Samsung Flashing Guide
Flash Samsung Galaxy devices using Odin Tool
Important Warning
Flashing Samsung firmware will wipe all data. Backup before proceeding.
What You'll Need
- Samsung firmware (.tar or .tar.md5)
- Odin Tool (latest)
- Samsung USB Drivers
- USB cable
- 70%+ battery
Step-by-Step Process
1. Install Samsung USB Drivers
Download and install Samsung USB Driver for Mobile Phones. Restart PC after installation.
2. Boot into Download Mode
- Power off device
- Press Volume Down + Power
- Press Volume Up when warning appears
3. Launch Odin & Connect
- Run Odin3.exe as Administrator
- Connect device via USB
- ID:COM box turns blue (device detected)
4. Load Firmware Files

| BL Button | Load BL .tar file |
| CP Button | Load CP .tar file |
| CSC Button | Load HOME_CSC (keeps data) or CSC (wipes) |
5. Configure Options
- ✅ Check: Auto Reboot, F. Reset Time
- ❌ Uncheck: Re-partition (unless required)
6. Start Flashing
- Click Start button
- Wait 5–15 minutes
- Do NOT disconnect during process
- Wait for green "PASS!" message
- Device reboots automatically
Success: Green "PASS!" box appears, device vibrates and reboots
Common Errors
- Device not detected: Reinstall drivers, try USB 2.0 port
- FAIL! (Auth): Wrong firmware for your model
- SW REV CHECK FAIL: Firmware too old (bootloader downgrade not allowed)
- Stuck on logo: Flash again or factory reset via recovery
Pro Tip: Use HOME_CSC instead of CSC to keep your data intact
